Two Bird Species In The Same Yard

Do you have more than one nest box? But unsure if you can have two different bird species nest and raise their young in the same yard? The answer is yes like nest boxes that are not so close together. Nest boxes are meant for smaller bird species like the sparrow for example. You can have a bluebird in one and maybe a sparrow in the other nest box for example and still feel safe to nest and raise their young. The only time smaller birds feel uncomfortable and not safe to nest in the yard would be a bigger bird like a crow or a blue jay. Tip if you have blue jays in your yard I would like to recommend that you do not want to place the nest boxes where you see blue jays often. The reason is that blue jays are a very territorial bird species.
